Making clay pipes in the workshop.
Each pipe is made by hand, using the traditional methods and the original cast iron moulds, some of which are over 100 years old!
The pipes are exactly as the original ones were with a hollow stem so you could even smoke tobacco if you so wished.
Pipe-making is very time consuming. There is a lot of wastage as many pipes are not usable after kiln firing.
