Holiday in Georgioupoli Georgioupoli (pronounced "your you polly") is an ideal holiday destination for those who want to relax. It offers miles of sandy beaches bordering a very small town that has grown up from the original fishing village. In the summer, the narrow beach can become quite crowded. But walk a few hundred meters in the direction of Kavros, cross the stream, and the beach widens out and becomes almost deserted. Elsewhere, the locals organise gentle walks through the amazing countryside.
